Collingwood is a quality fielder but that should not be enough to gain selection, his batting and bowling leaves a lot to be desired. Like Jones, he has never performed consistently well at any level of professional cricket.
It would be ludicrous to sack Fletcher after 10 wins in 11 matches, although admittedly the opposition was not the greatest.
