In summary,

JC and AndrewB are finished.
Sillycowcorner has a double pick to catch up on.
Morgieb and kingkallis have free hits to finish off.
Honestbharani is on the clock.

R11 order
Honestbharani 1 or 2fer
Teuton 2fer
Sillycowcorner 1, 3 or 4fer
Anil1405 4fer
Srbhkshk 4fer
Watson 8fer
Red hill 3fer
Samuel vimes 8fer

So honestbharani actually has a double pick now, sillycowcorner can make a triple pick to finish off and Watson can pick his 8fer anytime

Thanks Teuton (with helping hands from Anil and Sam) for a really nice concept and one of the best run drafts ever.

Tempting to go for another pacer and play Barnes as the spinner, but I like Verity too much and he is a match winner in English conditions. Barnes was at his best on harder pitches so the two 'medium spinners' complement eachother.

A very watchable team even if I say so myself.

Perhaps Headley and Hazare in their traditional spots at 3 and 4? Engineer is probably a better batsman than Hadlee.

Can I pick seeing SCC is the only 3 before me and he's timed out?

Yeah go for it. Honestbharani has timed out too, hopefully they log on soon to complete their teams.
Anil, red and I can all jump in now so we should knock this over by tomorrow.

Williamson and Root at 6/7 just seems wrong. (Not that my team would be any better in this aspect once done.)

I'll pick Tom Hayward (4) to finish off my side.

Matthew Hayden
Tom Hayward
Neil Harvey
Sachin Tendulkar
Greg Chappell (5)
Clive Lloyd (C)
Adam Gilchrist (Wk)
Curtly Ambrose (2)
Waqar Younis (3)
Neil Adcock (1)
Subhash Gupte (4)

Happy with the way the team has turned out...Good openers backed up by an awesome middle order that ends with Gilly's fire power.

Ambrose and Adcock to trouble the batsman with bounce off a good length and Waqar with his swing. Subhash Gupte to back up the pacers with his trickery.

Thanks to Teuton for organizing this wonderful draft which was real fun to be a part of.

It's a bit inhumane to expect keepers to focus all day behind the stumps and then face-up to the likes of Marshall or Lillee with the new ball at first drop.

I like the idea of Weekes coming in at 6 and thrashing a tired attack during the last session of the day Doug Walters style.

Tate was also a very good tailend batsman and probably better than Akram. A real bowling allrounder.

Nice team Teutonic that effectively bats to 9.

Michael Hussey(1)
Andy Flower(0)(+)
Ian Botham(8)

Jacob Oram(4)

Bowling is probably not as good as some other teams but I suspect the batting makes up for it. Solid till #10.

Yeah I know what you mean. Partly it's the nature of the comp where Hammond is pretty much as good as any 5th bowler, and partly it was just that Sutcliffe and Weekes were too good to pass up so I had to ask Sanga to take the gloves.
