Agree.....also getting PCB chairman changed every 2 years doesn't help either...by the times one chairman gets the know the other members of ICC to or even how ICC works..the guy gets changed and not only the chairman the whole body of PCB (may be all the way up to door man in PCB).PCB and only PCB. The blame lies solely on them.
If they continue their dumb ways, very soon time will come when Pakistan will stop producing good cricketers. Pakistan has as much potential (financially) in cricket as India and they have better talent.
Batting? No. Bowling? Yes, though the boys coming out now are rather disappointing. Overall, better talent?Sanz said:Pakistan has as much potential (financially) in cricket as India and they have better talent.
What are the equivalent figures for ODI's?2000 Onwards :-

PAK - 74
SL - 81
Ind - 88

SA - 96

Wow, no wonder NZ have struggled so much at test level since 2000. You have to play test cricket to get better at it. So much for ICC's 10 year plan proposed about 5 years ago for an even distribution of matches for all test status nations. Just goes to show, it all come back to the almighty dollar.2000 Onwards :-

The problem is simple, I have been saying this from the start. Musharraf is the one who decides WHEN and WHO (even if a person wants to resign) gets an axe and hes the one who introduces a new chairman. The power lies with the president not with the board.Agree.....also getting PCB chairman changed every 2 years doesn't help either...by the times one chairman gets the know the other members of ICC to or even how ICC works..the guy gets changed and not only the chairman the whole body of PCB (may be all the way up to door man in PCB).
PCB needs a huge revamping...and we all know that will never happen...the guy who is going to replace DNA is going to be either someone who has already served PCB and when he gets picked up again...he is going to go and bring other people of his liking in PCB and will go on to serve his tenure by going on revenge path by first claiming in media that every wrong thing with Pak cricket is caused by older board and soon...everyone will get tired of him and he will be axed......whereas the problems with Pak cricket will continue on......Its unfortunate, but it is exactly what is going to happen
Nothing wrong with c.25 ODIs in a year, IMOSame can be said for England and ODIs sadly.
