Yeah, Australia should have kicked SK Warne to the curb with his love for the pies and ciggies.

If you can play you can play mate......if weight and fitness are impeding them they don't get picked.
Yes. Cricket fitness is a bit different. Warne was very cricket fit, could bowl all day and back up the next day. I know many ripped, athletic blokes that fall apart at the end of a long day in the field or after batting for more than a couple hours.

Also one of the most batting fit bloke I know is a 35% body fat bloke with a gut and skinny little arms and legs. But he can bat all day without losing concentration or getting too tired.

I hadn't noticed O'Dowd being fat but thought his opening partner Vikramjit Singh would be one of the first guys named here

Yeah Steve Smith has pretty noticeable love handles.
Lungi Ngidi has a big frame, but is still packing some lumber.
Shakib Al Hasan has a bit of a pear shape

Sorry if it's been mentioned but one of our Fat XI getting timed out in the tournament is a nice touch.

In the name of BMI balance, can we name the Skinny XI? Jansen obviously a walk-up start at 7, with Mitchell 'no arse' Santner to come in after him.

Ian Smith to commentate, incidentally.

Why are we fat-shaming these guys? They may be fat, but cricket isn't exactly a sport where you need to have lean muscle in order to be effective. Some of the best players in history have been fat.
Like Arjuna Ranatunga and Inzi
