End of over 27 (3 runs) - Scaly Piscine CC(175-3) RR 6.48
A. Yatawara 0 (1b) , N. George 27 (19b) , A. Ramachandra 4-0-23-2

Doing well so far but the match engine has a history of slowing my run-rate in the last 20 overs.

And there's my nigh on accomplish-capable spin specialist getting out to a crap finger spinner on a flat. Figures. Watch me barely scrape 300 then they'll be 200-1 after 30.

Some absolute carnage off the last few overs, this is more like it.

End of over 25 (2 runs) - Otago(125-4). 178 runs required from 25 overs. RR 5.00 RRR 7.12
J. Atkins 0 (0b) , M. Batty 64 (74b) , W. Newstead 3-0-9-2

Evens. Fine bowling by Newstead.

Scaly has won already, it seems. No way Zero Pillars can make more than 300.

Re: Yatawara though, good that he got no runs, he can save his form for Saturday against Australia U19's.

All my NT/U19 players have done crap for their country lately, so they should be due some performances.

Anyway:

End of over 50 (10 runs) - Scaly Piscine CC(357-5) RR 7.14
B. Gibbs 41 (30b) , N. George 128 (101b) , A. Ramachandra 10-0-63-3

All but 2 of my bowlers are on defensive.

Bit of a strange innings against andruid's team, spent the first 40-odd overs limping along at 3.5 an over before picking up at the end to reach 224/7. Got them 14/1 off 6 in reply, should be able to defend that in slow/cloudy conditions hopefully.

Won't last fish boy.

Also amazed by Moysey in a not-being-useless performance. If he can perform more often it'll make selection more interesting next season.

Blackcaps on cloud nine!

Blackcaps are on cloud nine after their first win in the CW FTP Championship II. They stunned BEST Indies with a 3 wicket victory.

Jason Becker, who is the MoM with splendid 111(90 balls) on a crumbling pitch single handedly won the match for Blackcaps! Coach Raghav is jubiliant after their win. Blackcaps are now placed 5th in Div I table....

Hey Tharmi, given any thoughts to Championship III? Ash's going to make us pay for friendlies on Thursdays, and Sundays are off for cup for a few teams.

I'd be willing to pay a bit for an organised comp ($3 or 4 maybe), but maybe we should cut down to one championship per league season? Could also have division two run earlier as a sort of qualifying tournament instead of current promotion and relegation - something like this

week 4 - week 8: two division two groups of six including 7th and 8th from this year's div 1 - winners of each group promote
week 9 - week 15: main championship

This has the advantage that every team has a chance of winning the championship in any given year.

Also, challenged Blackcaps. Hopefully my batsmen can get over their getting out in strange ways to Raghav complex.
