I got turned on by Jade Yarbrough's screams in that video. Is that how Aussie women sound when angry/hurt?

Good question mate. Clarke seems to function pretty well overall, this thing seemed to come out of the blue.

Slater is a really interesting one. Steve Waugh has mentioned in teh past he would have dealt very differently with him had he known about his bipolar. The signs with him were there as long ago as that AB medal night when he got up on stage pissed and sang Khe Sanh with Barnesy with a glass of red wine spilling all over the place. Then he had that outburst not long after against Dravid on the field in India and I think his ultimate punting from the test side during the 01 Ashes was after he';d been on the piss during a test match. His is a sad case. Like a monumental decline over the years. Ironically, he had the radio slot a few years back which Clarke now has on the Big Sports Breakfast.

Something has been going on with MacGilla for a while. He was abducted last year or in 2021 by blokes who were apparently looking for drugs or money. He always said he had no involvement and the blokes who kidnapped him were mistaken, but that never really made sense to me. And now this, though tbf he denies the allegations. Have to see how it plays out.

MacGill is an innocent kidnapping victim

They targeted him because of his A list celebrity status

"It is understood that Cricket Ireland is keen to play the series in England instead of Ireland to avoid the rain threat that is likely to prevail in Ireland during that period."

Could have ideally thought to schedule in June instead.

Finally a board that schedules sensibly

You call "we don't want to be washed out, so let's play in England" sensible?
@TheJediBrah perpetuating the myth about England and rain.

Let's look at the average annual rainfall in English and Australian cities.

England: London 585mm, Leeds 620mm, Manchester 830mm

Australia: Sydney 1213mm, Brisbane 1149, Perth 735mm, Melbourne 649

Admittedly, when it rains here in Oz it buckets down. None of that dull grey drizzle.
