Ishant averages just 26 across 52 tests from 2014 till 2021. His initial years were terrible. He is a poor man's Anderson.

Flintoff had an incredible peak though, even if it was short-lived. And if we're allowing ball tampering in the analysis then he's a real contender

I get what you want to say but for that to happen Jadeja needs to average around 37-40 for next 4-5 years . And considering the competition in spin department he faces , he will be dropped if he averages 35-37 for 2 consecutive calendar years .
