Best bowler to average over 30 ?

School Boy/Girl Captain
I'd keep spin and pace separate in this discussion or I'd shift the average higher for spinners to maybe 34 vs 30 for quicks.

Active quicks then it's Woods and Archer.

Retired quicks. Zak Khan and Flintoff

Out of the 4 of them I'd go with Woods, but imagine a pace quartet made up of those 4. Nasty!

Srinath, Lee and Patterson might also come into the discussion for quicks.

Edit: I'd be tempted to go for Srinath myself for quicks.

Definitely guys that deserve a mention. I'd go with Lee from them 3 mostly for how well he did at the end of his career. With Srinath I'd love to have seen how he'd have done with better support/less expectations on him. Patterson at his peak was just terrifying.

International Debutant
Hmmm.... I would go:
Nathan Lyon
Erapalli Prasanna
Abdul Qadir
Ted McDonald
Alf Valentine
Stuart MacGill
Harbhajan Singh
Keshav Maharaj
Vinoo Mankad
Sarfaraz Nawaz

I think if you reduce it 29; many more great bowlers will qualify; I would go:
Anil Kumble
Lance Gibbs
Kapil Dev
B S Chandrashekhar
Chamunda Vaas
Subhash Gupte
Saqlain Mushtaq
Tim Southee
Garth McKenzie
Graeme Swann

Only Lyon will make into this list.

Gregory and Constantine worthy of a mention if you are including McDonald.
