Australian Domestic Season 2018/19

Been a fine innings from Pucovski, looked comfortable at the crease all day.

Kid is clearly a serious batsman, but I still very much think a cautious approach is best regarding potential international selection somewhere down the line

Yeah and SA clearing out the dead wood with Ferguson and Cooper. I'd have thought Lehmann the more vulnerable, myself.

They had to do something, the batting as a team hasn't been great. Most guys have tonned up at least once but few scores above 300 despite good batting conditions this year. Some serious coasting going on.

It's a big call with Ferguson especially, but results with the bat all season have been substandard so some change was needed. Brad Davis of Sturt gets his first call up, something of a veteran at grade level, knows his game quite well these days. Right hander who can be pretty nice to watch when he is going well, doesn't mind a cover drive from time to time. Looking forward to see how he goes.

Kelvin Smith has also been recalled again, will probably go the same as his other 426,510,783 chances

All those Futures Leagues runs have to produce at least one ton by his 50th match

Always love a grade stalwart getting a call up. Will be a rough baptism in Brisbane, hope he smashes it.

this could be the 50 that gets cameron white back in the test team

or a contract extension

Abbott has really upped his game this season with the red ball, quite frankly he needed to. Definitely bowling better lengths, less boundary balls being offered up
Dominates with the Duke ball. Should be on the plane for the Ashes tour tbh.

i still don't see nsw picking him in the first xi in the first match after the BBL, just based on how NSW do things, but he could have been named in a squad, as he could in the next two matches
