I feel like you could have started picking 50+ batsman one turn earlier but you still have a great team.
Would have forced me to pick a lol sample size player. If Border, Viv Richards or Compton were available I could have.

Red Hill needs 3 more players. It will be interesting to see how he completes his team.

Cowdrey was averaging 46 before he was forced to come out of retirement. So Dexter/May but with 40 more tests. Batsmen with step declines proved very handy here.

I was going to pick Cowdrey. For some reason changed my mind to take Hunte.

Also, I picked Doug Walters only to make it impossible for Pothas to do a double pick catapult to Ponting. I knew with number of players left to pick he will not go to Ponting (or anyone in that range) without picking another under 50 player.

Something I earlier also did with Stuart MacGill pick -- made it impossible for KK to do a double pick catapult and get Hadlee.

Yeah, when I was checking the numbers picking 50+ at #9 meant that you were running a big risk of not getting anything at all for one of your picks, I had to go for it because my team was poor compared to many but your team being better makes your approach more suitable for your case.

Nah don't agree. Getting Bradman is sort of a win on it's own but does not actually make for the best side.

I'd be curious to know the combined batting averages of every side at the end, that would give an indication on whether Bradman was worth it or not, though obviously not airtight

Line and Length has the top 6 combined average around 51. Whether he has the best side is debatable, but as far as the best batting side part is concerned, I think he has it covered.
