Total Runs: 185,923
Total 100s: 454
Triple Ton Scrorers: 3
Total Wickets:
5379

Pretty happy with the overall team.

- Legendary Imran Khan to lead the team
- Aggressive Barry Richards & Sanath Jayasuriya to open the inning and put the opposition bowler under some pressure right away
- Positive yet circumspect middle order in Zaheer Abbas, Daryll Cullinan & Steve Waugh which can play according to the situation to control things in the middle
- All-rounder heavy lower middle order of Imran Khan, Clive Rice, Jayawardene and Lindwall can take the game away from the opposition in a session
- My No.10 has 7 FC tons and N0.11 posted highest score of 80 which means I have players that can bat till No.11
- Bowling line up of Holding, Khan, Lindwall & Kumble along with Rice, Waugh and Jayasuriya, is capable of taking all 10 in a day

Aight I'm bored let's do this right:

- Middle order has loads of *** appeal. Each player exemplifies clutchness and would be allowed to play with freedom. Ridiculous conversion rates and century ratios. <4 matches per ton for each of 3-5. Could you imagine Lara and YK tonking spinners out of the rough on a day 5 pitch? Or the cover drives with the 2 lefties at the crease. KP adds a little bit of magic and pizazz to a solid middle order. I'd say he's the crisis man but you could say that about the other 3 also.
- Opening duo with the ball is in CW's GOAT tier, slotting in at 2 and 4 in the Fast Bowler Survival ranking thingy. Perfect yin and yang pairing. McGrath can safely be relied upon to surgically remove the big guns as Steyn rips through the other end. Easily the best 2 pacers of the last 20 years. Fire and rain. Asif is a pretty darn skillful 3rd seamer and adds variety to the attack.
- Laker rounds out the frontline attack superbly and gives me a rare spin option to succeed in the graveyard for spinners that is the land down under. CW rated him 4th behind only Warne, Murali and Tiger so there's that too. An all conditions attack if there ever was one. With >3.5 WPM and a 10-fer, Mankad would be the ideal support bowler for Laker and Asif on dry pitches, taking the ball away from right-handers.
- Sehwag's quick scoring would be pretty handy with a reliable middle order to come and that's what I've got. Mankad averaged 41 with a double in England opening so the top order while a step down from the rest of the team, still covers most bases.
- Dhoni at 7 inspires confidence in the lower order and likewise, Laker and Mankad would be comfortable with a superb stumper behind the sticks. He captains the side too and has loads of experience in the XI to lean on.
