He was the bunny of the great Michael Bracewell's uncle (Uncle John Bracewell), but a pretty decent, albeit grumpy, player.

Was cool when this forum used to have good cricket discussion instead of this dumb parochial **** from particular quarters.
There was fair bit of joke trolling happening in the thread and you have problem with "particular quarters". When did you become like people with particular kind of attitudes?

I was lucky enough to play with & against many test cricketers as they all played grade regularly in my day

Border was easily the best & would probably have gone down as a great attacking player if he wasn’t forced to play defensively due to the standard of his test teammates
