Is he? From all the anecdotal evidence Walcott was a very quality keeper. Based on what I’ve heard I’d have him in the same tier as guys like Gilly and Sanga.
Against spin mostly, hardly kept to pace. And over the time period they both kept Walcott averaged les than Les. Now, could argue the same for Sangakkara, but: he batted at 3, kept for more games than Ames and didn't gave up the gloves for fitness issues. Walcott is still a better bat ofc, but feel Ames would be a better fit

Vote for Godfrey Evans and become a better man. You're welcome.

Ah yes a huge 0.04 higher. And struggled against the strongest team of his time.

The argument here that makes no sense, and I don't care how it impacts it in 2 or 4 year's time...

People consistently chirp that Barry isn't eligible for an AT XI, and then votes him into the 4th.

The argument isn't if he's good enough, but eligible. And if he makes the 4th he's eligible for the 1st or 2nd.

It's a very contrarian argument.

Agree, shouldn't have voted for him at all.

I'm on your side when it comes to Barry's eligibility but that vote was the same sort of thing that got Ashwin in – a split vote resulting in victory for a vocal minority.
