That was a much better slower ball than I realised.

Still think spin could be effective here, even if Santner's been hit a bit (successfully targeted by Root). Think NZ would like it if the pitch gets a little drier and harder before they bat.

McCullum already called Anderson a golden-arm but yes that's just another example.

Often gets a wicket with a pie, though deserves some credit for that one, saw Morgan coming.

I've never been a fan of him but he's been great last few years. Really solid numbers and a very valuable lower order bat. Probably hits the longest ball in the team.

Given the fewer games played vs those around him pretty solid stats.

Stokes with too many dot balls here. Needs to start rotating better even if the run rate is ok.

No excuse whatsoever for the best spinner on domestic cricket to be sat on his arse for New Zealand. Terrible judgement by NZ selectors.
