Yeah, there were 2 fifty fifty Tests which could've gone either way and ended up being shared. Both sides had injury issues and neither were at their best. But it produced a great series.Absolutely gutting to be honest.
Can't pretend for a second that India didn't deserve at least a drawn series though.
It was player of the summer as opposed to player of the series.Brook over Stokes for England's player of the series? really?

Allan Border style !speaking from my extensive club captaincy experience it ***** me whenever my guys on the boundary get happy feet and creep in but by the same token it's on captain to make sure his fielders stay on the spot between balls and aren't creeping up, just as much as it is the fielder, tbf!
Smith should be blamed instead.Of course he does. But blaming him for the loss is extremely illogical
it's kind of that ironic thing that happens to guys who perform well but don't get over the line in a tight loss - if brook was caught on the rope first session yesterday by siraj the narrative's all about india's great bowling and dominant win on day four, but because of england getting so close due to brook, and brook getting out playing goober ball, people will say it's on him. curious thing you see in cricket ehOf course he does. But blaming him for the loss is extremely illogical
