Well done to Atkinson for getting a 5'fer but he couldn't have asked for 2 easier wickets with Siraj and Krishna unless he bowled to Chris Martin.

Tongue bowled pretty well too with his 3 wickets.

Not a great total for India but it looks like another good day for bowling so India aren't out of this yet.

He is our best bowler now. Where that puts him long term only time will tell but he is the leader of the attack for the next few years injuries permitting.

With hindsight he'd have sat out Old Trafford and played this one every time. Just burned himself out on the wrong pitch.

tongue is some improved discipline away from being a proper test bowler.

crawley could play until he's 100 and he will never remotely resemble a half competent test batsman.

Nah if you become too eager, you get nothing. Have to remain patient and consistent with your lines. Bowl accurately for long periods and wickets will come eventually but if you go chasing for wickets, you'll get hit for plenty, for example Siraj.
