Still 2 days to go until it starts, plenty of time for someone in the England camp to do something dafter - the moral pendulum swingeth one way......Gambhir single-handedly swinging the moral pendulum back in England's court![]()
Next game is definitely a draw if he comes out on the heavy rollerView attachment 48970
LOL! Look at the size of him.
He looks like Gulliver from Gulliver's Travel's towering over the small people of Lilliput.
Yeah, that's ****ing ridiculous. If you wanted to inspect the pitch and you thought you were being unfairly prevented from doing so, you can professionally talk with the groundman, and if that doesn't work, take it up with the match referee or some other formal process. Stuff like that is entirely uncalled for, and I hope Gambhir gets disciplined for it. It's completely unprofessional behavior and should not be tolerated in any modern workplace."You're just a groundsman, stay in your capacity. You're just a groundsman, nothing beyond that."
Clearly not happy letting Stokes have a free run at the biggest dickhead involved in this series award.
Using his 'status' to win the argument. Cheap man.
And yet, nothing was known about this before this morning…There is an army of drones copy pasting the same defence of Gambhir on X: "The groundsman is known to be difficult. Did the same to the women's team." etc. without any evidence to back it up, as if it would make Gambhir's comments any more acceptance, even if it were true. Truly mind numbing jingoism on display all around.
Haha yeah.. I could not find anything in a basic google search. And yet, nothing was known about this before this morning…
The women played a T20 there, hard to imagine them turning up on mass the day before and filling up the square with an extended training session.Haha yeah.. I could not find anything in a basic google search.
that on his talksport podcast? cannot bring myself to watch him even if jarrod kimber is on too.Bumble's come out with some dumbass comments too. Keeps going on about "who's going to bowl at you?" apropos India's refusal to accept the handshake. What do you mean who's going to bowl at you. Eleven players, pick a few ffs. You can't bullrush an unwilling team into accepting your offer.

I've seen Indian fans now defend this behaviour by speculating that the groundsman would not have behaved this way if it was the England team in this situation. It's wild the mental gymnastics people will go to in order to avoid admitting to themselves that their team is in the wrong. There is an army of drones copy pasting the same defence of Gambhir on X: "The groundsman is known to be difficult. Even if that is true and that person is difficult to work with, it doesn't really excuse Gambhir's behavior. Someone else's unprofessionalism doesn't excuse yours. There are ways to take the issue up the chain if you are having a problem with somebody. There is an army of drones copy pasting the same defence of Gambhir on X: "The groundsman is known to be difficult.
