Gambhir's a no-presence coach. Someone like Shastri would've probably joked and bantered his way into the groundsman's good graces. People like Dravid and Kumble would've been gracious, sober, and undeniable. Gambhir is just a bad representative overall for the national team.
What do you expect from the dude who became a CW meme for his attitude while being a relatively lackluster player.

haha come on man. You could argue that the groundsman should have been professional as well and not used triggering language.

My worry is, would this guy have said the same had the English team been inspecting the pitch and conditions? I bet they were there doing it as well.

Any which way, its one thing to be triggered but it shows how insecure you are that you have to resort to "you are not at my level" type of yelling. Sadly, not unexpected with GG. Always a petty and insecure bloke.

Yeah I noticed that too. It's only a picture but that thing about a thousand words...the big man seems peaceful, the angry dwarf wags his finger.
Seems to be the preferred method of communication with this squad. GG should be grateful that the groundman didn't grab the offending digit and see how far back he can bend it backwards towards the entitled litle ****.

Gambhir is such an utter scumbag for someone who's achieved so little as coach. This guy has just no class or dignity. 'You're just a groundsman' is such a derogatory and discriminatory response.

The ones defending Gambhir on social media are even bigger idiots.

If BCCI had any class, they would sack this asshat but BCCI themselves have a board comprising of such entitled assholes making Gambhir an 'ideal' fit I guess.

Rahul isn't considered to keep the wickets ? Is it because he's doing so well as a batter, or is there another reason ?
I'm wondering because I read Jurel might not be the best pick as he's inexperienced in England.
Rahul could keep the wicket and Nair or Easwaran could come in for Pant then ?

It's a tough job opening while keeping (especially when you might be in the field for 160 overs!) and Jurel did a fine job keeping at OT (I don't think he can be held to blame too much for the byes at Lord's neither)
