Many (not all) cricket followers think the 4 best ODI batsmen of all time are Viv, Sachin, ABDV, and Kohli. For the point of this voting exercise that is being assumed. Who do you think is 5th best?
No,Michael Bevan is the joke option.Kane Williamson is the joke option, right?
Oops. Sorry, can't edit it. Therefore, any votes for Jos are now null and void.Buttler not Butler. Buttler.
Michael Bevan is the joke option.
NoPonting for me , ticks all the boxes I'm looking for:
Longevity - 13K runs
Success - 3 time ODI World Cup Winner
Big match player - Probably the best ODI innings ever played in a Final - 140* vs India 03
Perhaps not, but the list doesn't include Clive Lloyd, Aravinda De Silva, or Grant Elliot. It probably should include the first two.
Gilchrist knock was better in 07 against a far better bowling attack.Perhaps not, but the list doesn't include Clive Lloyd, Aravinda De Silva, or Grant Elliot.
Emphasis on the butt?Buttler not Butler. Buttler.
I think it’s more about how it killed the game before there was one. A 280 type score and Sehwag and Sachin are in the game big time if they take off early like Sachin did vs Pakistan earlier (yes it’s a final, more pressure etc), but this was basically done.Gilchrist knock was better in 07 against a far better bowling attack.
And in 07 , Aus had scored 280 in 38 overs iirc.I think it’s more about how it killed the game before there was one. A 280 type score and Sehwag and Sachin are in the game big time if they take off early like Sachin did vs Pakistan earlier (yes it’s a final, more pressure etc), but this was basically done.
No team is chasing that score in a final.
His innings was the difference in that.
None of them are in top 10 odi batIt's between Dhoni and Bevan.
?It's between Dhoni and Bevan.
