4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

International Regular
What I'd like to see XI for me:

Jaiswal
KL
Nair
Gill
Pant
Jurel
Jadeja
Kuldeep/Sundar (could also pick like SA and drop Nair for Sundar and let Kuldeep bat at 8)
Prasidh/Kamboj (could go either way but these two are the remaining best pace options)
Bumrah
Siraj

Gambhir would probably beat up Kuldeep to ensure he never plays again and throw in Shardul because he likes to have a lineup that can only bat.

Day 1 looks to be cloudy, dreary and probably rain interrupted at some points too, you'd think it would be a bowl first toss.

Wood not being available for the Oval is a blow, if not entirely unexpected, will we have an express pace option for the Oval now? It seems unlikely Archer will play 3 Tests in a row

Think Potts has been messed around, with Woakes perhaps on his last legs, he seems like a good person to come in (all of the other names floated apart from Cook you wouldn’t really fancy them to be that workhorse who can bowl all day, meanwhile Potts can do that, and can do that while bowling quicker than what Woakes can these days)

Potts has been a bit unlucky, it's true, although the other part of me thinks that many English seamers won't have minded TOO much to have missed the first two tests. I have said before that I think that with some rain around the last few days, you would have thought that it won't be all in the batters favour at OT.

True, but Potts seems to be out of the picture altogether, he was snubbed in favour of Overton (who I don’t think the management are overly keen on to start with) for the first two Tests and wasn’t in the squad for Lord’s neither

I long for a Potts-Wood-Stone pace attack

Yeah, its strange. He has usually done decently, especially for someone who isn't first choice and doesn't play a whole load of matches on the trot. He is quite a well rounded bowler.
