England are picking out and out bowlers who happen to be able to bat though, it’s not like it’s a deliberate policy to pick all-rounders (without injuries we’d still have Bashir who is a proper number 11), so India shouldn’t just pick batting depth for the sake of it, though Kamboj would definitely offer that

I'll never get the advocacy for a strategy that's not worked often. The Jaddu/Sundar bowling combo hasn't really held up so far, and England's had a much better 4th option after the main 3 pacers in Stokes compared to the Indian combination. England's had much better bowling depth, and people for some bizarre reason think India should avoid trying to match that and instead pick teams to lose/draw gracefully.
