3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Stokes been bowling off a full run this morning. Not reading too much into it though, seems like the sort of thing he'd do even if he was injured. Ruin his body even more to try and prove a point and make out he's not hurt.
The Classic Toxic masculinity, I like it.

They are supposed to bowl 90 by 6pm but never do.

So we play on till 630PM and stop still short of the 90 overs.

But then it's June/July in England and would be playable light until 8PM.

Cricket far too rigid to logically just get the overs bowled when the weather allows.
We used to play till overs were done or light got too bad.
The half hour thing only came in cause of TV companies.
Don't see why we can't change that when most of cricket is shown on on dedicated cricket channels now.

wait it’s a nail issue? That finger looked swollen; I would think it’s more than the nail. Obviously it was through a TV but that seemed like a lot of swelling.

Understandable when you remember how Warne's toe nail affected him in India.

Breaks clear of Smith again and leads the way with 37 centuries now.

Will have at least 10 more centuries than Kohli finished with when he's done with test cricket.

Not so many years ago he had around 17 test tons to his name...... Slaps on another 20 in quick time.

Well played Root!
