Bad luck to him :/ Dunno if he would or should make the NZ T20I side (I'd say no), but his presence makes the Plunket Shield stronger.

I've been so taken by 20 mins of footage of Fraser Sheat's numb-looking-front-arm outswingers and in-nippers (also his stats of 36w @ 24) that I'm promoting him into my starting Super Six.
It seems I wasn't the only Wellingtonian to be taken by Fraser Sheat.

Solia is gonna mess up my team now he's an opener, will doubtless score fewer batting points than bowling. Might have to sacrifice him or someone else to bring Guptill into the team.

No Matt McEwan in that Auckland 'A' game btw Chewie. An activated van Woerkom for R1 was actually a negative for you, but I've had to go back and do that.

Yes if it were solely up to me there would be a chance to rejig selections mid-season, but others like it the other way and Super Sixes are set.

Ok I'll revert to hoping that Auckland realise opening with Solia is a bad idea. Send O'Donnell up there instead - 50th match as a specialist batsman and average barely scraping 30.

Good tactics by Solia to try demonstrate just how much he is NOT an opener. Amazing that Beghin is only Auckland's second worst opening batsman problem.

A bit weird Guptill is batting down at 5 - surely it's not with the idea that he might get back in the NZ test side in that position? There was a brief period where he might've been the best backup to Nicholls there, but that time is well past.

Tbf there is still a potential gap after Taylor retires.

Yes that'd be right. Not sure what year it was, but we've seen the poster closest to the Auckland scene being much keener than us on the thought of Guptill getting one last run at 5.

Chewie

International Vice-Captain
I went through and filled in some of the boxes, I think some of the bowling ones are wrong though?

Vamdem has a good way to make sure we get those big bowling hauls right. He puts an = at the start of the cell entry and then the 25+21... and so on.
