Unfortunately Arjuna's last Odi was in the 90s so he only qualifies for the test team

Damn, Heals should've offered Arjuna another mars bar to keep playing ODIs into the 2000s!

Lineups have been updated.

The 2 polls are up. Please vote for the top 3 in each category.
Remember that the scores in each poll will be multiplied together to find the overall winner.

Hope you enjoyed the draft as much as I did.

Great draft, really! Enjoyed every bit.

Yeah, this was an excellent draft and really helped me get back into the game after being anti-cricket for so long. It moved along really fast as well and was incredibly well organized by a poster who was constantly online and updating the thread. Great job Teuton and good job everyone. Some very interesting teams selected.

Great job guys. Enjoyed the draft. Was going to appreciate Teuton for his brilliant management then saw the fascist rule that I can't vote for my own teams. Dejected. Angry. Upset.

Cheers boys!

Himannv

International Coach
Well, I know that no one will vote for my team. I would vote for mine
Nah, I kind of like your team. When I joined so late, I actually felt like just picking players I like instead of picking the best possible team. However, the competitive nature inside me burned a big black hole in my heart and I tried to put a better side together. I was thinking of going with this ODI team ftr:

Nick Knight
Mark Waugh
Stuart Carlisle
Mahela Jayawardena
AB de Villiers
Russell Arnold
Craig McMillan
Lance Klusener
Brett Lee
Adam Dale
Jimmy Anderson

Since we seem to have done 2000 - 2017, shall we also do a draft for 80's and 90's?

The Test teams might be stronger, but the ODI teams might be marginally weaker. Thoughts?

I think it would be a great idea. Hopefully some one can put their hand up and run it in the near future.

I can try running it if no one else has time. I'll start a new thread to gauge interest and take it from there.

The polls are closed so i declare kingkallis the winner on 49 points (7 votes in each).
He really put up 2 quality, well-balanced teams and thoroughly deserved the win.

Runner up is Red Hill on 21, then morgieb and myself on 16.

Thanks to everyone for their participation and for making it a great draft. I look forward to the next one soon.

cheers
