That's a lot of edges that Burns has had. He's played very well here but it's easy to see why people would be skeptical of his performances long-term.

Random cacky camera angle.

Is there not a single bowler in Australia capable of bowling some sort of cutter? Would be very useful here.

Yes, but those that make it to test level seem to be able to bowl slower balls or cutters or yorkers or something. Ours seem to have nothing other than the odd half-volley or bouncer.
Starc has everything you're talking about, trouble is there's a lot of **** in between. I think that's why Australia's stuck with him more than what people would want - otherwise the attack is worryingly generic for flattish non-Australian conditions.

Bring back Faulkner?
Like the leg cutters Lillee used to bowl, or off cutters Trueman did. It's really something that has disappeared from the game. Not the slow stuff like Faulkner bowls. Although that could work and would be less samey.

Yeah, that says something about the luck. Had no clue, neatly avoided the fielder.

Cummins has looked a lot better bowling over the wicket. God knows why he opened around, wasted the new ball.

Third man should not be the most productive scoring zone when a side is fielding three slips and a gully.
