It is very surprising that both Broad and Anderson aren't playing (if true). I can only guess the complete lack of match practice in their cases has ruled them out more than anything. Broad was injured at the end of the English summer and Anderson being 39. Both warmups more or less been rained off, plus the outside netting they've missed due to the rain. It ain't much but Wood and Woakes have been playing some cricket even if it was 20 over stuff. Not exactly promising for England's chances to have neither of them playing.

Really? He nicks Warner off in the first five overs it's on again. They seem to be placing a lot of faith in getting result in Adelaide. Ballsy. Aus hasn't lost a D/N test to date afaik.

Presumably Robinson, Wood, Woakes, Stokes, Leach is the attack then?

Predicting Starc to fire up deluxe here. Very lean last summer under tough circumstances. Hope Warne chokes on his own erectus by the end of the second test.
