obviously im delighted with my innings, my 3rd (?) FC double century, i think only Andy can match that, pretty good way to score my first century of the season too, was a good partnership with pete, lets hope this big win sets us up for the title...

Add one day to each date, until we catch up. See, this is why there are 2 offdays between the regular season end and the first final.
And presumably another reason why some days only have 1 game in (ie you actually have a life rather than commiting to sim 2 full games each day?)

Great win Blue! Great batting from Simon and Pete and great work by the bowlers. I'm a bit annoyed I couldn't help things, but we really didn't need any help from me at all! Great performance Blues!!!!! :D:D

You took some quality catches though Nady, don`t forget those.

Very happy with my second innings bowling, got a few to jag back of the seam, LBWs are awesome. Great team bowling performance, and then...
THE BATTING! Poor Colts, Simon was absolutely unstoppable, and Pete struck a brilliant century. Some good middle-order contributions, Cribb gets them runs once more. I thought the key to out batting was the ones and twos, not just looking for boundaries.

We`ll finish on top yet, keep it up.

God, I've never seen a man charge down the pitch like Simon in that innings.. a man possessed.. oh wait.. who put that Four n Twenty banner on the sight screen?!

Exactly. People may not like 3 teams having a bye on one day, but it can be quite handy at times.

I won't mind at all when we have CW Grade Cricket going on :)

EDIT: CW Grade Cricket would also be a great opportunity for trying out new things without affecting the FC database.

Cricket Web Green vs Cricket Web Red
at the CW Oval

Cricket Web Green defeated Cricket Web Red in a thrilling game that went down to the wire, with intensity and heart in every ball delivered and every stroke played. In the end, it was Tarick Weber and Nathan Hoy who saw Green home. Weber followed up his champion effort to bowl his team back into the game, with perhaps the most crucial 10 not out he will ever score.

Chasing just 110 for victory, after Red collapse for 129 in their second innings, Green struggled to 89/7, as the Reds simply would not sit. The runs came surely and not too surely, ticking onward toward eventual victory.

Cricket Web Red 1st Innings 283 all out
Cricket Web Green 1st Innings 303 all out
Cricket Web Red 2nd Innings 129 all out
Cricket Web Green 2nd Innings 111 for 8
Cricket Web Green won by 2 wkts.

Remarkable match. Weber's had a brilliant season.

That might just about seal a Green v Blue final as well, as Blue should be over a game clear of Red now, with two left for each side to play.

Hang on... only one game left for the Reds, so yes I would imagine that's it, and it will be a play-off for placings now, with Green likely to finish top unless they lose both their remaining matches.

Apologies are in order.

That was an utterly spineless effort from me especially, sums up the season a bit really. No excuse to get out for 3 and 0 in a crucial game. Pathetic. :@

Good effort from our bowlers for the most part, two run outs in the second dig was mildly stupid, however. Top knocks from Ian and Dauth in the first, but...

Does that mean the Reds a done for this season in FC?
With the season gone, I'd be pushing for another FC cap in the last Red game if I were you. I'd think Nayak would be in with a shot too.

Well played Tarick once again, what a champion. B) Well done greens, nice

Finding a bit of form again with the bat in FC, which is nice. Although steds cut me off just short of my 50. :(

I was actually more worried about my hip pocket, it seems the money that i put on thr Reds to win the double has gone to waste. As has the money on Steds to be the Reds leading wicket tacker. :@ I guess i have to get a loan from Thamba this week, he seems to be earning a lot from those player performance benefits he gets. :)

On that note it seems that Rob last made a last surge to get most runs for the season, as has Simon. I like to congrat Rob also for passing 1,000 runs for the season two games ago with his 184. Well done mate :)
