    A.F.L Thread

Just emailed a link to the carltonfc website to WWE Corporate asking if they were aware that such a large corporate entity was making free with their intellectual property...

Richo :( on the upside, Shannon Cox has finally realized he's too **** to play AFL and has announced he'll cease clogging up a space on our list

    Wildcard

Lol. Poor Lewis. He was an honest enough FC bowler but that's not what he'll be remembered for. Zimbabwe of a decade ago with Andy Flower, or Sri Lanka without Murali would be two other examples.

Yeah Smith obviously deserves North's place. I mean Norrh just doesn't look international quality.

    Rashid Latif finally admits it...

nah bs... one had the ball fall out and bobble back in before he landed on the ground, the other took it, rolled over three times, dropped it, looked at it for a second, THEN picked it up and appealled. The Clarke one is bad, but nowhere in the same league. I remain perplexed as to why he gets...

    Rashid Latif finally admits it...

Just so we're clear, would you be able to post a link to this infamous claimed catch of Clarke's? I'm pretty certain I know which one you're referring to, but I'm continually confused as to why some people are SO up-in-arms about it, so am wondering whether I've missed something...

There are a couple of problems with that team '24. Somehow two guys who are NOT NSW players have snuck in. Surely you'd prefer: Hughes Jaques Katich Clarke Watson (it's ok to like him now, he's a Bluebagger) some other Sydney random Haddin Lee Bracken Clark Bollinger

You're kidding right? May yet prove to be the case, but Hodge has him covered by SO far for now it's not worth talking about.

Great series that between India and OZ

It being shown on FTA tv would've helped. Whereas a couple of years ago, I got Fox hooked up especially for this series and the other cricket going on.

Great series that between India and OZ

cbf watching it tbh. 07/08 has left me with a massive aversion to watching Australia and India play each other. Plus the other reasons you mentioned.

    Wildcard

I'm sidestepping reopening Murali vs Warne Part 2058 by saying that one of them would probably be the one to go.

    Wildcard

I'm worried by having two of five bowlers as spinners in most conditions - I'd look at McGrath in for one of Murali or Warne.

If Clarke's out, surely it would be Hughes in as opener, Watson at 4 and Hussey at 5...

Doesn't help when he keeps getting clean bowled by balls he's not tried to play at. A slump is one thing, looking like you can't judge a ball's line is another. It might not actually mean anything in terms of where he's at, but jeez it looks bad.

    Cricket Books

Reading Jason Gillespie's 'autobiography' at the moment. Pretty prosaic, reads more like a tour diary - "played NSW, took 2/42, had a niggle in my back, needed a jab", is pretty much the gist of it. He seems to have generally avoided politics in his career, or at least in this account and his...

Reckon they'll give him the series vs WIs. If he doesn't produce there, he'll likely be gone by the Pakistan tests.
