    Sir Imran Khan?? Why not??

Probably right there. In the Netherlands we've seen the odd knighthood-refusers, for being against the principle of monarchy. However, that is not the point. Every nation, republic or monarchy, dictatorship or democracy, has its own ways of honouring citizens. In monarchies, the titles happen...

To make this match just slightly interesting, Bell and Collingwood have decided to increase the run-rate.

Ramdin averages 23 in Tests. Mark Boucher, just to name a Test wicket keeper with a solid place in a top side, averages 30. I know Prior, Haddin and Dhoni average around 40. But my point is that crying for Ramdin to make a dozen runs more in a test innings, is not worth it. In ODIs, things...

Cook is 25 (and 77 days), has nearly 4000 runs and averages 44. His debut was 4 years ago. Someone at Cricinfo claims that today, Cook has gone past Collingwood, Imran Khan, Flintoff and Hussey. Looks quite impressive! Not too many batsman with that amount of test runs at that age.

I think Ian Botham refered to these series in his book. It's the one where Viv Richards got the fastest 100, not?

Just checked the score (60/1 after 20.0). Does the pitch justify the low run-rate?

Which was the more painful defeat for Australia?

The way I remember it, most of them did not so much underperform, but rather were pwned by a well-prepared, in-form and peaking England team. No doubt those three were doing great. Warne possibly had his best series ever, which might make the English series win even taste sweeter. And about...

Will West indies and Pakistan ever recover?

We've seen this list a couple of times now. The list of a fully fit Windies Team, that might be really up to it! I won't get carried away by it too soon, but I really, REALLY, do look forward to watching that side playing the Saffies in the Caribbean.

Good to hear Sarwan & Bravo are likely to return. What about Taylor & Edwards? Man, I do hope the Windies get their act together and get all players fit and available, before the Saffies come touring.

Frankly, I don't see how an umpire with limited experience could make such a decision. More about stupidity than experience........

I agree with you that publishing postcounts is not really a necisity. But I did't think it contributes to a poor atmosphere. I must say you have pointed put a fair argument here.
