Does anyone think Australia's situation is not actually that dire?

No, the first Test could NOT have easily gone either way. Yeah, in the end it appeared so, But it only became close due to two great 10th wicket partnerships. Though I won't say that was simply good fortunes, it was (and still is) freakishly unlikely to happen! I think there is no way...

    *Official* Second Test at Lord's

I think Watson is underrated as an opener. Obviously, he is not the best opener in the world, but if he is in the team anyway (as an all-rounder), I think he is more valuable as an opener than as a #6. He actually DOES get the shine of the new ball consistenty. The review was a complete brain...

In pain or not, inexperienced or not....., play sensibly Agar! For the sake of this series!

Reminds me of "The Office" TV-series, when David Brent interviews a female employee, pressing her to admit he is like a father figure to her.

My view is a bit clouded by the wasted reviews in the first Test and Broad's consequential escape.

Beat me to it! Pietersen cheered like a kid in a candy store when he saw Watson review. What an unbelievably stupid review. It's hard to say who's a worst reviewer: Clarke or Watson..... I'd like to hear what Watson asked Rogers and what he replied.....

    *Official* Second Test at Lord's

It should be a good-to-watch and possibly very important session. Really hard to say where it goes from here. I can see the Aussies keep the momentum and take the remaining 3 wickets quickly. But I can see the English tail add 100+ too. I guess from here 350 is par.

Who's the one player that each side simply can't do without?

That's not the point here, is it?

Who's the one player that each side simply can't do without?

No you didn't. It looked alright, due to two monster 10th wicket partnerships. I won't say that was just luck, but I will say it won't happen too many times again.

Who's the one player that each side simply can't do without?

Apart from thinking it's a nice idea to discuss key players in a team, I think England have a far better 12 to 15 than Oz have. It's a bit easy to claim Jimmy is the key, just after he has taken 10 in a close match. I can see England win tests without Jimmy. Swann and Broad have bowled some...

WALK! Come on. I can see not walking when there was just a feather, as there might be a doubt. But this? Broad's a ****ing ****!

I would be a sad thing when Smith rolls over Engand's tail, after the damage has been done.

That's why he is in the team, isn't he? He's just a disguised Pom!

Pattinson is not exactly doing aus any favours here.

*Official* First Test at Trent Bridge

/yeah, figured 260 would make it 50-50. I don't agree with the latter part though. I think England are quite likely to get there from where they are now. Agreed! Actually, that was forgotten a bit, due to Agar's innings. Hughes actually playing Swann the way he did, makes a hell of a lot of...

What sort of lead (at the end of this innings) would make the chase a 50/50 affair?
