No. Off with him, I'd say.

Form the naked eye, that looked too high. Impact a ball-heighth above the knee-roll. I wouldn't have given it out! Too much doubt. Poor decision, given the tradition an umpire must be sure. But it's good for this match! Proper reward for getting up way too early on a Sunday morning! Which...

Well, not sure he had really landed on the first frame. But, I'm happy he's gone.

Pfffff, simply a step too far forward there. Village cricket mistake......

Well, this one wasn't easy. But then again, a good keeper makes things look easy.

My completely subjective, probbably useless, yet possibly handy FoW pars for this target, assuming we are in for a nail-biting finish: 1/20, 2/40, 3/65, 4/90, 5/115, 6/135, 7/155, 8/170, 9/180.

So, Amla falls, after playing 167 balls. I'm not sure what to think of this innings. I'm very much impressed by his wicket occupation. It's what test cricket is all about! Wait for the odd poor ball and hit it. But Amla just got 2 boundaries of 167 balls. I find it hard to believe he was served...

Pant wicket keeper batsman, star today in india.

There's always the 0,0001% chance she is not, but truely a stunning hot, filthy rich babe, looking for a date with a nice guy that loves to post on a cricket forum.

I haven't seen Topley bat yet. But Irfan is really really funny to watch. Right there with Chris Martin.

Good to see an old-fashioned proper #11.

So, The Mirror has Mark Wood as an all-rounder?

Once the camera's were on him, he stood tall, the way a pleasantly mad man would do, after delivering a world cup winning ball.

Do we really need more proof that Shahid Afridi is an idiot?

They are? That's completely new to me! Apart from the fact speed guns are hardly relevant for speed skating........

**Official** New Zealand in Australia 2015

My point was merely that nowhere in sports a properly calibrated speed gun has ever been used. Maybe I'm too cynical about it.

I was thinking Shoaib Akhtar was the only one ever to have bowled faster than 100 miles/h (161 km/h)? Anyway, I think there's loads of rather not-so-officially calibrated ways to determine speed. Andy Roberts' 40 year old record doesn't really tell us that much, I guess.

Indeed! Reminds me of Ponting. His behaviour could be so ridiculously close to my 14 year old pupils' .

I still think the first Test's pitch wasn't so bowler friendly, it justified 700 runs for 40 wickets.

Same here. It's just that from any point of sensibility, one would expect a number 7 batsman to play 2nd fiddle to ABdV and block it out, rahter than escape form the crease to play aggresively.
