    The thinking is this: Since England have a more than decent all-rounder in Stokes, there is no need, at all, to have a spinner who can do a huge workload in not-so-spin-friendly conditions. And Moeen is good enough to exploit spin-friendly conditions. And, of course, he can bat. Alltogether...

    A good chase indeed! Yet, I feel the target should have been 200+. I've said this before & repeat it again: on batting pitches like these, in T20, consuming a quarter of the balls for a run-a-ball, as Rahane did, is simply match-losing, rather than anchoring the innings.

    One might view it differently: Not even a 230 target is too much for England. Only the odd Gayle Storm can stop them. Hence clear favourites. But otherwise yeah. Innings break vs SA probably was a fine moment to bet a few quid on England to make it to the final.
