The problem is that, at Anderson's age, there is the realistic chance he might not recover completely from an injury. Fast bowlers do break down occasioanlly.

Well, an Anderson top spell was due. He hasn't had things going his way this series, but this was coming. What about ABdV? Such a great batsman. He had a collection of good strats without conversion. So you'ld expect a biggy, rather than three ducks in a row......

I didn't realise that. Makes sense though. Anyway, it was worth a shot, I guess.

Does he have anything to say on it? A 100% umpire decision these days, not?

It was the light. Still impressed by those 2 Moeen overs though.

I was thinking the same, but that over proved us wrong already, not?

Yeah, I'm quite impressed as well. Let's hope he can hang around for a couple of years.

He's not there for analytical cricket commentary. Just to entertain. Whether he is any good at the latter, is also highly debatable.

SA will surely win this from here. And for that occasion, I've decided to buy a nice bottle of red from SA. It's going by the name 'Immerbly' which translates to 'always happy'. I can't think of anything more useful to say about this test at this point.

I didn't anticipate the number 8 taking four form his first ball.

Could not have been better set up than this.

Great captaincy. Get yourself on, and take the absolute key wicket with a genuinly crap ball.

Half a foot outside leg! Not even close!

Pietersen giving the match away by taking that catch? Yeah, it's been a few times that happened.

    **Official** Big Bash 2015/16

That's what I thought live. It was just half inside half outside. Fair enough.

Did I just miss the last 3 overs before lunch?

    Very odd indeed.....

Possibly after Cook has declasred having a 200 run lead?
  19. Stapel

    **Official** Big Bash 2015/16

Consuming 24 balls at a run-a-ball is a good way to lose a T20, imho.

The other wide, called for height, was actually shoulder height......
