**Official** Sri Lanka in England and Ireland 2016

Yeah, but that makes breaking this partnership the key, rather than AM's wicket. Unless, as flibbertyjibber & OverratedSanity suggested, Chandimal sucks with the tail. I guess that's fair enough, though he won't win the Chanderpaul prize, will he?

To get punished..... Nearly got one though!

I think there's not too much difference between those two. IMHO, just as key as AM. On AM: Yeah, that's what you do with part timers!!

@ FJ & Jmay: the both of you are being harsh on Chandimal. Or possibly underestimating him?

I understand the enthousiasm. Yet, it would be far better for this Test if the question doesn't show up.

That's something I'm wondering right now........ Anyway, it seems weird to me.

Since when does a no-ball count as a delivery faced by the batsman?

It must be said that with 30 laps to go, it was not quite so clear which strategy was better. With the benefit of hindsight....., you're right.

Very good call on Compton......... Too bad Cook got out. Sloppy indeed. Not like him.

Allow me to be the so-manieth to disagree. Perhaps there are higher highs. And even if so, they are massively wiped out by the lower lows.

His 2014 FC record suggests otherwise. I felt he was quite promising. But surely not living up to it so far.

Hales not looking good. Slow rate is fine, but that LBW shout was not a bad one, he had a wild swing&miss, and he was saved by Mathews not using a third slip in English overcast conditions.

Daredevils have decided to spice up the fight for the 4th spot, not?

I couldn't help watching some re-runs. Howmany times do you see marshals cheering around the track during the victory lap?

ICC hoping to add further World Twenty20 tournaments to schedule

Cricket at the Olympics would be a great idea, imho. But I guess it won't happen. Perhaps for the same reasons Rugby and Football don't get there (if one wonders: football at OG is for under-21's only). Many popular sports simply do not need the Olympics. And if they do get there, it really...

I'm all for batsmen walking when they know they are out. But there is no way Yusuf could know he was 2 millimetres short........

This thread really deserves a kick up, not? I've been watching F1 for 30 years, never ever having the real opportunity to root for a Dutchman, nor feeling the need to. But now there is Max Verstappen. It was crystal clear, halfway last season, that he is a that rare talent from the...

You mean that tourny that had 491274 1st round matches, of which 491273 didn't matter at all (only Bangladesh vs England mattered), and then suddenly was over within a day and a half?

Ball 19: Narine to Dhoni, no run, tossed up outside off, defended. Ball 20: Narine to Dhoni, no run, good length ball on middle, defended. Apparently, it was his choice to do so......
