Athena, Kris Statlander x 2, Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Billie Starkz. She's been on a good run in AEW. She had a really good one against Hazuki in New Japan last year too.

Supposedly they were counter programming the.... counter programming from WWE, and that's why it went so long. Tbh I think the Dynamites have been close to the best they've ever been week to week. Easily the strongest roster they've had, especially on the women's side of things.

Don't understand the logic here. If you aren't in the squad (and you were available), you are 100% being discounted. At the end of the day it's still 2 official test matches, we don't play many of them. And if Nicholls or Tom Blundell perform well against Zimbabwe there's no reason to drop them...

Neither of Rhys Mariu/Mitch Hay in the squad? Crazy.

In January I went back and looked at the games Latham/Conway played together and the latter was comfortably the better of the two, so I don't support dropping him even if he looks kind of **** right now. He's only just turned 33, he's actually younger than Latham. We can still get some more...

Do we really learn or gain anything from Latham/Conway scoring runs against Zimbabwe? If they play it should be a test each with Mariu at the other end playing both games. Same with Blundell but I'd just play Mitch Hay in both games personally. Blundell's averaged like 20 in the last 2 years.

He's kind of lucky Will Young has turned things around a bit because under Stead he was very nearly a completely wasted talent as well. Not saying Young knocked every opportunity out of the park but he got ****ed around a lot while Stead had his Nicholls obsession.

Why not Mariu over Nicholls? He hasn't been in the best of form but he averages 60 odd as an opener at 23 years of age in the plunket shield. He did all right in his ODIs against Pakistan and is exactly the type of guy you throw into those Zimbabwe tests.

    1. Sunil Gavaskar (India): 10,122 @ 51.12 2. Jack Hobbs (England): 5,410 @ 56.94 3. Sir Donald Bradman (Australia): 6,996 @ 99.94 4. Sir Garfield Sobers (West Indies): 8,032 @ 57.78 + 235 @ 34.03 5. Andy Flower (Zimbabwe): 4,794 @ 51.54 6. Imran Khan (Pakistan): 3,807 @ 37.69 + 362 @ 22.81...

Aubrey Faulkner vs Shaun Pollock (Tests)

If you put Ahktar, Lee, Tait, Bond in grainy footage from the 70s or 80s against batsmen with no helmets they would look ridiculously fast. Jeff Thompson is the only one that looks proper quick by today's standards. Most of the rest that were considered quick would be comparable to a Matt Henry...

I feel like I'd much prefer Bond but I can't say I have much knowledge about how good they are as coaches.

    *Official* Bangladesh A v New Zealand A

He did but he's also averaged 20 in the last 2 years (14 tests) and you don't want to waste an easy introduction to test cricket like Zimbabwe. It's a nice place to slot someone like Hay into the team.

50 now. but yeah he should be straight into the XI for the next test series.

Don't like the benching of Rhys Mariu or Abbas. Get the most promising players as much game time as possible in these conditions. Some of these other guys won't be up to much for the blackcaps in the future.
