    James Anderson

Seems like time is up for Jimmy. He's over 40 and playing like that. He looks done, just not penetrating and he's only bowling 130kph. Atleast he's not going for plenty but not taking any wickets. This ashes series is proving to be a graveyard for eng pace attack. Time to retire, and bring in...

    Josh Inglis

Does he get a look in due to the poor form of Cam Green? He's our best middle order spare batter in the squad. Then we should play Neser as the all rounder.

    Olllie Robbo

Hes 125kph village aint he? Keep playing him ENG 👍

    1st test - pitch rating

How would u rate the pitch. Imho it was very ordinary, as it was too flat. It was a 5.5 day pitch. Probably give it 2 stars out of 5. Ideally you want a 4-4.5 day pitch., so there is just enough in it for the bowlers.

    2nd test- bowl attacks

I assume there will be some changes The batting will stay the same ENG Anderson- he has to go- Mark wood replaces him. Anderson's career is almost over at 40 years old- it was a pathetic test. Robinson- stays Broad- of course he stays Rehan Ahmed replaces Moeen Ali who is injured Aus This...

    Pat Cummins

Legend .one of the greatest finishes to a test match - ever- especially considering hes a no.8

    Stuart Broad

What a cricketer he is. Age 36. Great swing bowler . If eng win, his Marnus- Smith wicket combination will prove the difference especially as Anderson is starting to look his age.

    Marnus and Smith

Definitely out of form now. Way off their prime level. Have they been found out? In India they were terrible. Cant win Ashes with two best bats way out of form.

    Aus XI- 3 no. 11's

Robinson also took the opportunity to question Australia’s batting depth, claiming the tourists have brought over “three No. 11’s” with Nathan Lyon, Scott Boland and Josh Hazlewood. “It‘s something we spoke about as a group,” Robinson said. ”We said once we get past Cummins, we feel like...

    David Warner

I mean, we get a very flat track, and he still fails anyway, hes been total crap for 3-4 years now. They will probably persist with him in all 5 tests, but in a key series we need a good bat up top- he's not it.

    Ben Foakes

Costly selection bungle here. A good wicketkeeper, and Foakes is a very good keeper, wins you cricket matches. An average keeper gets draws. Re batting Foakes is good with the bat, scored a ton in county Bairstow - excellent bat should be no3, In place of the relatively average Pope, but he...

    Mitchell starc

There must be serious pressure on him in the team? Bazball will target him and he'll go for 6 RPO. Surely Neser has to start. Starc is a wayward fast bowler overseas.
  13. H

    Josh Hazlewood

Before side strain, then achilles, now a side strain again Side strains have blighted Hazlewood during each of the past two home summers, causing him to miss four of five Ashes Tests in 2021-22 and three of five matches against West Indies and South Africa last summer. Poor guy, hes a nice...

    Michael Neser

Aus selectors have missed the ball here the guy swings the ball by miles on favourable decks - hat trick https://www.news.com.au/sport/cricket/michael-nesers-emphatic-snub-response-with-county-hattrick/news-story/6e2fb0035d7be48c3bc6f041a52a263e You would think if hazlewood is ruled out...

    Rinku Singh

Hits 5 sixes off the final 5 balls for victory only 25 years old, and looks and bats similar to Pant Looking at his stats- his FC average is nearly 60 and List A in the 50s.. Would be worth considering in an ODI squad as well for india.
  16. H

    Yashasvi Jaiswal

is this guy the next Ganguly for india? Only 21 yo prodigy. Left hand bat. Average 80 in FC. And just smoked 60 off 31 balls in IPL as an opener Surely we are taking Jaiswal to the world cup and look to slot him in somewhere.
  17. H

    Neutral test venues

I think its time to look at this. put simply- visiting teams are simply not the least bit competitive, this goes for any visiting team to anywhere- let alone india. This current status quo- gives way to some very low quality viewing. Note- ODI's are played in neutral venues e.g. world cups, and...

    David Warner

Surely he has to go? Assuming another failure in the 2nd inn. He honestly can't buy a run overseas.

    SKY or Gill 1st test

Who should be selected as no.5 for the 1st test Shreyas iyer - would've slotted immediately(ave near 60) but he's injured. who would u pick? Both are guns in the white ball formats, on relatively flat wickets though, yet to prove themselves at test level. SKY hasnt played a test. Gill averages...

    ICC = BCCI ?

Are they one and the same. Pitch gate, what a farce i mean..come on..This is highly unusual We never had this issue in our pitches down under. See below According to reporters on the ground, only the centre of the Nagpur wicket was watered and rolled while the area where bowlers will target...
