Now to knock over that dude Pietersen cheaply, we have a few scores to settle with him, as we do with his mate Anderson. Can't wait to see the look on the faces of those two when we finally get these Ashes back. I do feel for Cook though, great player and seems a nice bloke too, I don't think he...

Your ATG team without Bradman or Sobers

Rather have faced that lot than Marshall and Ambrose, Lillee was gone long before Richards retired and Thomson even more so. As for the others well Waugh faced most of that lot as well. I am sure you left some great bowlers out as well. My point was that there are batsmen out there with more...

No good asking me mate, ask Kevin, it's up to him.

I would argue strongly that Steve Waugh has a better record than Richards. There was a lot of commentator bias against Waugh over aesthetics which to be frank means nothing to me. He got the runs on the board and unlike Richards he had to face the great West Indians, Richards had it a lot easier...

Besides, I just think Hayden is a better batsman, and pretty sure he faced more good fast bowlers than Sutcliffe.

Your ATG team without Bradman or Sobers

Obviously that is one hell of a team but I would remove Sutcliffe for Hayden, your openers are of course phenomenal but too slow for the modern game. Hobbs is the biggest certainty here so I would have Hayden opposite so that the runs keep ticking at a good rate.I love your team because it bats...

Your ATG team without Bradman or Sobers

I'd have to think about this but I have a feeling I will have about 3 real good allrounders in it. Of course Bradman and Sobers are certainties, only a troll would say otherwise. So one strong batsman / ;leg spinner... and two allrounders who bat well and bowl extremely fast. Would love to find...

Commentators say that the ashes are in the bag, so why do I still feel nervous ???... nerves won't be gone till they are 9 down with hundreds still to get and not a rain cloud in the sky.

Yeah the quicker he gives an easy catch the better. Glad he has not fired this series, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke :)

Wisden names All Time World XI

when it rained in Australia they played on wet wickets and from everything I have read , a wet Australian wicket was unplayable, just as the averages suggest. I admit that wickets had generally improved but wet wickets were ridiculous to play serious cricket on. Only opener we have had that...

Slight correction... it is good if you are England.

You would agree that he does need to get the odd wicket though. Going wicketless is not good.
