What is your ranking of all Country's ATG XIs?

I think South Africa can also feature four pace bowlers in Donald, Pollock, Steyn and then one of Philander/Shultz/ Fanie de Villiers / edit - Procter on most pitches and yet be quite effective in fact with a bowling attack along the same line they were the only team who had dominated India in...

What is your ranking of all Country's ATG XIs?

As you rightly pointed out Aus. ahead all because of one man who can never be matched and is like 2 atg players combined in his self, rest can all be very debatable between SA, WI and possibly England for which you can consume 100 pages without much of a verdict.

South Africa Vs Australia 1999 world cup semi final

Donald was also particularly good in that edition dropped pace and changed from being a fast bowler to become a line and length, on the other hand was young akhtar in sharp contrast was scaring fast and yet Zulu was still able to dispatch him for a six on mid-wicket area in a crunch situation...

Worthiest Test cricket rival for Australia (last 30 years)

It's not a given that Aus. will win in Aus against India, in 2003 India fought a hard series and came close to winning it, same in late 2007,than there was a forgettable series but later they have won two back to back in Australia, how does that make you say what you said?

    Modern era ATGs?

I think Root is doing better than many batsman keeping in mind we are not witnessing mammoth totals like we became used to back in 2000s and suddenly popped up many batsmen who were scoring with an career average of 55, these days maintaining an average even of 50 has become quite difficult and...

Is there a team that can beat this Asian ODI XI?

I remember a peak Arvinda toying with Indian bowling like they were school boys back in 1997 , the image of him exposing all three stumps and yet taking a stance so far wide to the leg side was like challanging the Indian bowlers and spectators alike seems still vivid in the memory,it was...

Is there a team that can beat this Asian ODI XI?

I placed Klusener at 8 because that's where he came to his own in 1999 wc just behind pollock, well that also depends upon what.

Is there a team that can beat this Asian ODI XI?

Adam Gilchrist Brian Lara, Viv Richards, Dean Jones, Abdv, Bevan, Pollock, Klusener, Ambrose, Garner, Mcgrath, This team doesn't need a spinner regardless of the pitch esp. against asians, also they are almost guarenteed to keep the score under 250 notwithstanding the opposite batting...

    Quickest part time bowler

I t think Phil Simmons was a genuine all-rounder particularly in first class cricket he played in England, was a dominant figure in both batting and bowling for several seasons.

    Javed Miandad vs Younis Khan

Javed Miandad easily for me, first- he batted in a difficult period when only two or three players in the whole world were maintaining an average of 51 or 52 in contrast to Younis when many ( about 15 ) players had been scoring with that average and some were as high as 55 , secondly to be great...

    Quickest part time bowler

I think Mark waugh used to bowl with a decent pace, other then him who do you think has played in a team primarily as a batsman and had a good pace to his bowling?

    Cricket's worst captaincy decisions

Azhar in wc 96 semifinal against srl, won the toss and, chose to bat second on a pitch which was meant to break, and it did so viciously you would think he was an idiot.
