The Ange news is the best thing that could happen for both parties. Now he gets to take another opportunity with his dignity and reputation intact. Meanwhile Spurs don't have to sack him 10 weeks into next season.

He leaves the most successful Spurs manager in decades and everyone starts fresh again. Build him a statue

I do expect a few of their squad to now want out... starting with Romero.

Wasn't really super into the Cherki signing and will need to be convinced he will work in a Pep side (he is a massive talent ofc but isn't exactly a hard worker off the ball) but he certainly put me in my place with his performance against Spain.

Yeah its strange to adjust to the first time you saw someone play like 4 or 5 years ago is still just 21. I suppose athletes probably mature a fair bit earlier these days with the exposure to professional training and health programs.

Flo Wirtz deal... HERE WE GO.

I'll go on record now that my preferred option was Cherki as more of a value signing.

Huge fee and more than I would have liked us to pay but importantly got the deal done and our attack now has a lynchpin post-Salah. Excited to see what he brings to them prem and that we've got our first world class 10 since Coutinho left.

That's Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez done... Isak next please, FSG.

Rice has been gun for Arsenal tbf , its just the lack of goals which has meant they have won nothing of note since he arrived.

Heck, no shame in 2023/2024 losing out by so little to an ATG team in City regarding the league IMO.

Seems like a nice fella and the most obvious leader in that squad. That's a debate for next season though

On a side note, how does a scouser learn Spanish within 3 months?

I want whatever duolingo course that was because it took me 5 years living abroad and I'm still not even that fluent 😂

Well there are 2 options, he did it at school (some schools do Spanish and have dropped French/German) or realistically he has been learning for well over a year so the Liverpool fans begging him to stay last season were pissing in the wind.

I thought it had been fairly well known that he was going to RM for circa a year? He' may well have taken some Spanish at school but almost certainly been learning for a bit, given he has known for some time that he was going there.

So he knew this was the plan for some time despite negotiating extension offers on 3 separate occasions in the last year?
