  • Just wanted to drop you a message quickly. Ok, so you've received 5 infractions or warnings related to inappropriate language (or ignoring moderator instructions related to use of inappropriate language), and you're now sitting 1 infraction point away from a ban.
Rape 'jokes' are simply not on; they're utterly tasteless and childish considering how devastating rape is to victims; it simply is not something to be made light of by using it in a sporting context. And I really don't think I need to explain why 'gaaaaaaaaay' was an inappropriate post.
Please desist in the future, otherwise more infractions -- and therefore bans -- will be forthcoming.

    Thanks,
    Dan
Hi Viriya, just a another final warning before infractions will be handed out to stick to what we advised you on 21st January. Anymore advertising posts such as the one in the India/SA thread will incur an infraction.
    Hi Viriya, how's it going?

I'm wondering how you give points to match status on your test batting performances list? It is something I have really struggled with, particularly in assigning points for knocks played in the 3rd innings of a match. Could you PM me with some details?
Hi Viriya, just a polite heads up that we feel as the moderator team that you're over-doing it a tad at the moment in bringing up cricrate across various threads. You've clearly shown that you're here to contribute to forum threads, but we'd ask that you tone it down a bit and stick primarily to bringing up cricrate through the "cricrate: new cricket ratings website" thread. Thanks.
    Hey mate,

I've visited your site and really loved it. We have come up with some different results in regards to how to rate innings but that's to be expected.

Just pondering over your question in the innings ratings thread about why my system is not automated. I'd be very interested in knowing exactly how to make steps towards doing that.

Could you PM me about it?
the reason i linked it was because i said mohit was one of the top bowlers in the ipl now - if you check the homepage it shows that on current form - i don't link it without reason. but i understand if you thought it was me just trying to spam the link. I don't actually care for views right now (i'm still working on the site), but i link it when I think it adds to my post.
    Hey mate,

Just dropping you a line regarding linking to your website (and the warning I've issues to you). Generally, we don't have a huge issue with you linking to cricrate when it makes sense in the context of your posts, however when you're simply linking to the home page in a post, for no apparent reason, we're not as happy with it. At that point it goes from becoming useful and constructive to plain advertising.

We've been pretty lenient on the issue because your posting is constructive and generally adds to the forum atmosphere, but we don't want your posts being nothing but a billboard for another site. I hope you understand the distinction I'm trying to draw out, and if you have any questions send me a VM, or email the mod team at moderators@ cricketweb.net.

    Cheers mate,

    Dan.
