    If you're ever on the look out for a drummer, my cousin is based in Adelaide (Hallet Cove) and has been looking for a band for the last couple of years. He has 20 years experience and has recorded in the UK.

    PSPP might be your monty then. Plus, it's free! I haven't given it a go yet but if it does what it says it can do, you'll be sweet. Has some pretty rapid development going on too so if you use it and it's buggy, it probably wouldn't be long before there's a fix. Geez, last year it didn't even have a GUI.

    Yeah Endnote seems to be the cat's pajamas. Can't think of any other software I've used, tbh.

    Yeah, got the apple shop to do it. Guy was such a drongo though, every question I asked he disappeared for 20 minutes.

    Really liking it, all the programs I use work (MSN, utorrent, Opera and VLC thats it lol) and the trackpad is awesome so I'm happy.

    As for SPSS, might have to use the uni computers. Pretty sure it'll be basic correlation, regression type stuff. Certainly wont shell out much for it.

    Any good programs you use for lit research? I hear endnote is quite good.

    Ironically, this is the sort of stuff I'm buying it to do my thesis on - message board online communities and their impact on purchasing decisions (from a marketing pov).

    Yeah, pretty much. I'm pretty good at reading people, and the way he was clumsily trying to reframe the discussion to suit his point was textbook first- or second-year law theory. In the next year or two hopefully he'll learn how to be a little more subtle.
