Yeah, this is the thing. The show replaces characters that nobody cared about with characters you care even less about. **** I hate most of the supporting cast. Batista is just terrible, and though Quinn is ok for the first season or so he's in, he becomes awful as well. LaGuerta also just ****e.

But yeah, it's not a bad watch on the whole, but it could have been so much better. First season is genuinely really top TV imo. The finale was massively disappointing I thought, but at the same time, it was never going to be any good because the whole season (and last few seasons) didn't really build at all to what actually happens. Will be keen to hear your thoughts.

It really needed to be wrapped up after Rita got bumped off. That was the high point of the show, and they should have launched into him being really under the cosh from then on. But they just seemed to chicken out and come up with stupider plots which turned me off big time. Probably wouldn't have minded if I hadn't enjoyed the first few seasons as much as I did.
