  • If you have ESPN Classic, the next few hours might be up your street...2003 RWC Final, 1966 WC Final, and 5th Ashes Test from 2005...not that you'll have ever seen any of it before!
Just reading your post about Watford, wondering if you could rival me for hating the most footy teams?! :)
Haha, Philosophy has always been something I've considered at Uni as I've always thought I'd be pretty well suited to it and found it quite interesting but my main issue with studying it at Uni would be the situation you found yourself in; not having any more of an idea what direction I want to take my life in.

Just thought I'd ask the opinion of someone who actually took that route, I mean there's only so much reading you can do.
Hey Brumby, saw a post you made saying you studied Philosopy & Sociology at Uni. How was it as a course? And if you don't mind me asking... what career did it lead to for you?
    Cheers
haha sorry mate I wasn't trying to put the fear in you or anything, it was an immediate reaction from her op as far as I know so I wouldn;t have thought you have anything to worry about!

Can't beat going back to the mother's to get looked after. lived with mine for 3 months over the winter and it made me wonder what the point of ever moving out at all was to be honest. No Sky sounds a bit sucky though, was wondering why you were listening to TMS earlier. Cancelling my Sky Sports tomorrow mind you :(

As for the craps, I'm similarly a 2-3 man so you have my sympathy there, I wouldn't be able to bear it
Yeah a girl in work got a similar/the same illness, was still working for quite a few months between diagnosis and op and would get a bit off her face on the drugs and sit there all spaced out and happy. Was quite amusing. Her op went wrong though so we've not seen her in the place for 7 months :/
Ah I see, fair enough, glad it seems to have gone well anyway!

Never let my last missus anywhere near the forum myself personally, fair to say I'd have had a bit of bother for a thing or two that I might have said on here since we split. And before then actually, ha.

Not bad timing for your illness anyway, if I recall correctly you've pretty much managed to get yourself the cricket season off. I'm sure the pain and stuff was hard, but hey, gotta be better than being ill during the winter when all the footy/rugby is out of office hours anyway.

or maybe life doesn't revolve around watching sports and I need to get out more
