Remember how many times Dhoni let the game drift, especially in the field. Good skipper otherwise, but India's performance in England was unremarkable.

Amazing how times have changed in the perspective of the Ian Bell run out/appeal withdrawal. Shane Warne was on commentary lambasting the dismissal for being in the spirit of the game, only for the Aussies to do the same thing 2 years back at Lords (100% within the rules).

Yeah it was interesting Atherton pointing out that Bell knew he ****ed up and that it was a fair wicket. At the time I thought withdrawing the appeal was the right thing to do but now, think they should’ve stuck to their guns.

Yeah people worried about Pant slowing him down, but as far as I could tell this just seems to be how he basically always bats. Has been very, very passive on most occasions I've watched him.

I mean, he's the only one of them (notwithstanding Woakes being over the hill) who you'd trust to actually move the damn thing off the straight, so it isn't a huge surprise.

Wasn't sure we'd ever see him bowling regularly again. Let alone bowling the most he's ever done in a series and taking a fifer.
