england bowling utter dross under thick cloud and india sending out a man to bat on one foot.

...and people say this is the peak format of the sport?

It seems Anshul Kamboj has 1 half century to his name for Haryana, but not sure how much of an impact he'll have in helping the tail wag.

Not sure why Pant is in now unless his foot is better than first thought. If he can't run, it sucks the life out of the innings until he is gone.
sundar batting with india's tail not going to be much better no? either way i'm still rooting for team india to pull it off here

They're doing a retrospective of indias wins in england on Star and its being narrated by an AI voice. ****ing depressing the state of society that they can't get a human to narrate a 10 minute video package.
Wonder if 50 years later Cricketweb users will be replaced by AIs programmed to imitate our behaviour.

These flashbacks of the 2011 tour to England are bringing about PTSD.
Remember how many times Dhoni let the game drift, especially in the field. Good skipper otherwise, but India's performance in England was unremarkable.

Amazing how times have changed in the perspective of the Ian Bell run out/appeal withdrawal. Shane Warne was on commentary lambasting the dismissal for being in the spirit of the game, only for the Aussies to do the same thing 2 years back at Lords (100% within the rules).

That's a horrible review tbh

EDIT: Very lucky that it's umpire's call IMO, didn't look out at all

Umpire's call on impact never made sense to me, I guess they can't tell the exact point of impact, but surely the margin of error on an event they've already seen can be less than a projection of where they think the ball will end up
