Wait for it…Really should be... The only exception in 5 votes so far is your batting order with Smith/Lara

Steyn>Ambrose but he's 6th, so it's fineBarnes, Hadlee, Marshall, Ambrose, McGrath have all made it, the top five pacers.
I rate Ambrose a bit higher but almost equal.Steyn>Ambrose but he's 6th, so it's fine
It looks horrible in hindsight, but his intent was to go for the win and make the game interesting.@kyear2 anything you wanna tell me about the declaration brother?
I would definitely take a draw in that situation. It looks horrible in hindsight, but his intent was to go for the win and make the game interesting.
I much prefer that over the negative captaincy I saw last week with field placing and the delayed declaration.
From all I've read that was also the way Hutton captained and it's not something I would advocate for.
What does potentially disqualify him from captaincy was his propensity to over bowl himself and the partying example to his team.
The declaration bothers me less.
Isn't Kallis a slam dunk for the all rounder spot?Hammond vs Kallis could be the only close point in this round
You could go Hammond+MillerIsn't Kallis a slam dunk for the all rounder spot?
Not the way his mind worked.I would definitely take a draw in that situation.
I doubt it. Likely the team will end up with both of them. Kallis is close enough to the next batters in line (who they are exactly may vary depending on who you ask) that his bowling and fielding makes him an almost certainty for the last extra spot. Imran and Knott will likely take the other spots.Hammond vs Kallis could be the only close point in this round
some have the plan to give the gloves and #6 to Sangakkara, Miller at 7, Imran at 8, Ambrose at 9, Barnes at 10, Murali at 11.Isn't Kallis a slam dunk for the all rounder spot?
Miller averaged 37, and a soft one at that in test cricket. You could go Hammond+Miller
