3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Whatever it takes!!!
huge disagree, lot more seam movement on day 1 and pitch was faster on day 2 than 3.
It was obviously easier to bat on day 1 and 2 than day 3. I mean that was just objectively obvious to anyone watching. It is why England chose to bat, inspite of Bazball philosophies et al.

Yeah I definitely thought it died down a fair bit on day 3, maybe we can compare if movement stats drop on day 1 vs 3.

We've simply lacked the swagger and oomph required to chase down these middling targets. You have to walk out there and show the other side in no uncertain terms that you've bossed much of the game to be in this position. We haven't hence the loss.
Isnt that what Jaiswal tried to do and got himself out?

I think a guy playing for his place at 3 is also a problem but many sides face that. I just think Carse and Archer and Stokes were excellent for the kind of pitch this one has become esp. since about mid of day 3. The tall bowlers are getting more out of the track and we played a couple of poor shots and hence we are losing this game.

The margins have been that thin all series, and esp. this game.

how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time. and honestly i have this at like 95-5 england at the moment but it's eminently winnable if these guys stand and deliver. england ofc only need one ball and it's blouses though.

reddy is a real legit bat! as @Daemon said some of these drives to fielders are real slick. india losing some big moments last night and in the first innings likely to cost them still though

These two are the last two who can really bat well. I'm not surprised at there mentally of just seeing it off and seeing what they can get. 92 runs isn't that far away
