3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Nair just isn't cut out for it at this level. Jaiswal's shot was an absolute shocker though, not sure what he was thinking.
Yeah its quite sad the Nair tale. I loved how he worked so hard to come back and how much it meant to him, but he's just not good enough for test cricket.
Next test I'd bring in Jurel for him if Pant is fit or Sai assuming Jurel has to take the gloves.

Whatever it takes!!!
Shastri and DK have gone from 'India have dominated most of the series'
I mean this would still be objectively true. "Dominated" has to be taken in context though. I think India have won more sessions than England this series and are still about to be 2-1 down. But unlike the first test, where the damage was mostly self inflicted, here it was more 70% England being better at key moments (day 3 and day 4 last sessions and today 1st session) with the ball and 30% us not knuckling down and getting more runs in the first innings.

All said though, they did have the better conditions to bat as well this test, its not something to be discounted.

I have no idea what you're talking about. India haven't been perfect but they've played extended periods of excellent cricket. The entirety of the bowling performance yesterday was superb. England have just been a bit better. If you want to have a miserable waaahhh go ahead, but saying India haven't had fight is just boneheaded. They've just been outplayed in the final stretch which is allowed to happen, its not been like the first test which felt self inflicted because of the dozen drops..
Except you’re completely wrong - the question wasn’t whether they’ve played some exceptional cricket - and that’s not what I’m talking about.

The question was whether they have “toughed it out” when they had to. Eg speaking more to their mental toughness. Have they showed that? And the answer is they haven’t. That’s just the truth. Too many mental mistakes and no sense of that mental toughness that won them the Aussie series, as @Spark said.

I just don't understand the reason the rule was changed in the first place. What actual problem were they trying to solve?
A couple of keepers got concussed and there was a bit of worry about less competent part timers being at even more risk IIRC

You can have your 'won most sessions' while England will have their 2-1 scoreline

But there's something actually wrong with you, you're a really weird poster and the most ignored poster in the forum.
Congratulations on finally getting a reply
Never heard of you before. I post with my real name so nothing to hide, I have fun (At my own expense), If you don't like it that fine but you sound like a bit of a dick but don't worry :D
