I reckon that’s a really good batting effort from England. Had to see off some very dangerous spells.

Decent score on the board. No idea how our bowling attack will hold up but we should be well in the game if they don't break down.

387 it is. I think I'd have taken that when we lost those three quick wickets this morning. Now we'll see just how competitve our total is.

I don't think it's too bad unless England bowl as well as they did in the first two tests.

That total of 387 could be good or bad depending on how India bat and keeps it interesting.

India conceded 50 too many to the tail (partly down to dropped catches). Thats gonna be the main difference in the end.

India didn't bowl too badly at all this innings. Lost their composure a bit when they swapped out the swinging ball earlier today. Fielding was the real let down, but that's bound to happen with a team full of guys coming in from a long stretch of white ball cricket.

England batted excellently. This is a very strong platform. Bazball is dead and no one is upset about it

Really looking forward to Archer today tbh. Rate him higher than some people here seem to. Always impressed me when I've watched him bowl even when he isn't getting wickets, thought he was quite impressive in the games he played in India back in 2021 on some flattish decks for example. He might cause some real trouble with that uneven bounce, can see some drag-ons happening.
