3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Nice to see Joff in. Not sure why they dropped tongue over carse? Tongue is england's leading wicket taker this series (Tail wickets mostly tbf) while carse has struggled and looked cooked when he was bowling on day 4. Feel like joff for carse made more sense?

Carse has bowled better than Tongue. Tongue's taken more wickets, but he bowls even more freebies than Carse. I'd say Carse has been unlucky to not pick up more wickets, has bowled some really good spells. Definitely questions around his fitness, but if he's fit, I'd definitely be going Carse over Tongue atm. Should have brought Atkinson and Archer in for the pair of them though I think, although maybe a risk bringing 2 lads in coming off injuries.

Tongue is almost Bashir level bad against true Batsmen, Carse has definitely bowled better and we saw what he can do on greener and livelier pitches in New Zealand.

England suits reddy with his dibly dobly seamers then aus
Are you sure you've been watching the Tests? The pitches have been so flat that even dibbly dobblers are useless.
Needs an opportunity to show , in the past India didn't manage the likes of Hardik Pandya and Irfan Pathan for Test Cricket
Hardik had more pace and could do more than Reddy, his body just failed to hold up. I wouldn't say he was picked on pure potential like Reddy was.

England selectors have spoken and its going to be pain for india. Archer will be back to his quick best and suddenly handling 83-84 mph will now be 92-93

I don't think the indian batsman will have the nads for it

It's the same for both sets of batsmen, brother. Bumrah and Archer being back, Lord's game, two batting lineups that have feasted on flat tracks. Stage is set for an exciting test.

He played one FC game in last 5 years, the management is mostly banking on his natural talent and a spicy Lord's pitch.
I would have thought that in terms of spiciness, Trent Bridge and Old Trafford were more bowler-friendly than Lords; especially these days of hotter and drier summers in ol' Albion.

I believe gambhir wanted a draw at edgbaston that's the reason he played 6
batters and 2 all rounders. It's just that akashdeep came out of syllabus and took 10 fer saving gambhirs ass.

Bumrah for prasidh. Reddy stays provided england are gonna prepare a green top
I'd still want Yadav for Sundar. I know Sundar scores valuable runs but Jadeja isn't taking wickets and India need someone more attacking with spin as well, especially if the pitch does break up towards the end.

I know his Test career is a small sample size, and all bar one of those matches have been in subcontinent....I get all that. But even with all of that - if you have a wristspinner who averages 22 in Test cricket at a strike rate of less than 40, you simply CANNOT leave the guy out. That's an automatic selection as far as I am concerned, until he shows otherwise.

I wont be against this. I just dunno if they will do this.
